Terms of Use
Effective date: 9 May 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Appliora website and online CV builder (“Service”), operated by Jusup Ramazanov, IČO 23679859, Na Císařce 3222/18, 150 00 Prague, Czech Republic (“we”, “us”).
By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Appliora provides tools to create, edit, preview and export CV documents in your browser. Features may include templates, PDF export, optional AI-assisted text generation, and local storage of your edits on your device.
The Service may be offered during a beta or early-access period. We may change, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practicable.
2. Who may use the Service
You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation to these Terms.
Account-based features may be introduced later. If so, additional terms may apply at registration.
3. Your content
You retain ownership of the content you enter into the Service (your CV data, cover letter text, uploads such as a photo).
Unless and until cloud sync or similar features are enabled and you choose to use them, much of your CV data may remain stored only in your browser’s local storage on your device. You are responsible for backing up content you care about.
You confirm that you have the right to provide any content you submit and that it does not infringe third-party rights or applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
- attempt to probe, scan or test vulnerabilities, or breach security or authentication measures;
- overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service or servers;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or use the Service to distribute malware or spam;
- reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law;
- use automated means to scrape or harvest data from the Service without our prior written consent.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these rules.
5. AI features
Optional AI features may send prompts and relevant CV fields to an AI provider through our server-side proxy to generate suggestions (for example, a professional summary or cover letter draft).
AI output is assistive only. You are responsible for reviewing, editing and deciding whether to use any generated text. We do not guarantee accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular job application.
6. Intellectual property
The Service, including its design, templates, branding, text and software (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial CV creation during your use of the Service, subject to these Terms.
7. Third-party services
The Service may rely on infrastructure and tools operated by third parties (for example hosting, analytics, fonts, PDF libraries, AI APIs). Their terms and privacy practices may apply in addition to ours. See our Privacy Policy for how personal data may be processed.
8. Beta and pricing
During beta or free-access periods, fees may not apply. We may introduce paid plans or one-time purchases later. We will provide reasonable notice before charging fees where required by law.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that using the Service will result in employment or interviews. Export quality depends on your content, browser and settings.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service.
Our aggregate liability for claims arising from the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) fifty euros (EUR 50), except where liability cannot be limited under mandatory law (including gross negligence or intentional harm).
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your content, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law, except to the extent caused by our wilful misconduct.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms on this page and revise the effective date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Material changes may be highlighted on the website.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in the Czech Republic shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections if you qualify as a consumer in the EU/EEA.
