Europass CV and ATS: when the official format helps
Europass is an official European CV service designed to present skills and experience consistently. It is useful when a programme or employer requests it, but it is not a universal ATS guarantee.
When Europass makes sense
Use it when the vacancy, university, mobility programme or public institution asks for Europass, or when a standardized profile is useful for your audience.
Review the finished export
Regardless of the authoring tool, check selectable text, headings, dates and reading order in the final PDF. Keep a copy of the source so you can correct an export issue.
Tailor the content
A standardized shell still needs a targeted profile, relevant experience and the language used in the vacancy. Standardization cannot replace evidence.
