Cancellation & Refund Policy

This page explains how to cancel your Appliora subscription, what happens after you cancel, and how refunds work. We want this to be simple - if anything is unclear, just email us at hello@appliora.io and we will help.
How to cancel
You can cancel at any time. There is no phone call, no form, and no hidden step.
- From your account: sign in to Appliora, open your account or billing page, and choose "Cancel subscription".
- By email: send a short message to hello@appliora.io from the address you used at checkout, asking us to cancel. We will confirm by email.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. You do not need to give a reason.
What happens after cancellation
When you cancel:
- Your subscription stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- You will not be charged again after that.
- Your CV data remains saved in your browser on your device, so you can keep editing locally even after access ends.
Trial and monthly renewal
Appliora is offered as a paid subscription with a short introductory period:
- Today: a one-time introductory charge for 7 days of full Pro access.
- Then: a monthly renewal charge after 7 days unless you cancel before renewal.
The exact introductory charge and monthly renewal amount depend on your country and are shown clearly at Stripe checkout before you pay - and confirmed in your receipt email. Current regional rates:

To avoid the monthly charge, cancel before the 7-day introductory period ends. Once cancelled, you will keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, and you will not be billed again.
Refunds
Appliora is a digital service that gives you immediate access to features like PDF download and AI-assisted text generation. Because of this, refunds are handled as follows:
- Introductory charge (the amount shown at checkout): this covers your first 7 days of access. It is generally non-refundable once you have started using the paid features.
- Monthly renewal (the amount shown at checkout): if you forgot to cancel and were charged for a new month you did not intend to use, contact us at hello@appliora.io within 14 days of the charge. If you have not made significant use of the service during that new month, we will usually refund it as a goodwill gesture.
- Technical problems: if a payment was taken in error, or a clear technical issue stopped you from using the service you paid for, contact us and we will look into a refund.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method through Stripe and can take a few business days to appear on your statement.
EU right of withdrawal - digital service note
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases.
Appliora is a digital service that is supplied immediately after purchase. By starting your subscription and using paid features (for example, downloading a PDF or generating AI text) before the 14 days are over, you expressly ask for the service to begin straight away and you acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully provided, in line with EU consumer law.
If you change your mind before using any paid feature, contact us within 14 days of your purchase at hello@appliora.io and we will refund the introductory charge.
This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
