International CV for Europe: language, location and evidence

International applications reward clarity more than a decorative template. Show what you did, where you can work, which languages you use and how your experience transfers to the target role.

Write a location-aware profile

Name the role, strongest relevant experience and intended location in two or three sentences. Do not imply that you already have a local address, permit or language level unless that is true.

Use evidence a recruiter can verify

Projects, certifications and responsibilities are useful when they are real and specific. If an example is fictional, label it as such; never copy sample metrics into your own CV.

Keep versions consistent

Maintain one source of truth for dates, employers and qualifications, then tailor only the sections that respond to the vacancy. This reduces accidental contradictions between country versions.
